April 11, 2006 Vice President Daniel Hawkins called the meeting to order at 7pm. There were 13 members,
associate members and guests in attendance. Hawkins gave the invocation.

Reading of the secretary’s report was waived. Treasurer reported that all is well.

The May meeting has been moved to the 4th Tuesday instead of the 2nd Tuesday to accommodate
the membership drive. Kirk Alter will be the speaker. Missy will be mailing out postcards and
sending emails to members concerning the change. Members will need to make reservations.

Golf Tournament in June.

Hawkins gave the building development report- cost of permits will be based on value of the building.

Expo was held but we do not have the results of the skills contest yet.

Our guest speaker was Bernadette Reidy with Snider, Inc., Barry Nauss with Grundfos and Phil Edwards.

Hawkins asked if anyone had any old business/new business to discuss. Ralph Rea’s son has been
diagnosed with cancer.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Darrell Ellis gave the invocation.
Reading of the secretary report was waived. Treasurer reported that there is $$,$$$.$$ in the bank.Hawkins mentioned that next month’s speaker is Bernadette Reidy and Phil Edwards

We are collecting the 2006 membership dues.

Our guest speaker was Joel Davis with the Chapman Company. Joel mentioned that his company would like
to co-sponsor the continuing education classes! Joel’s number is 704-543-9140.

Hawkins mentioned that the CPHCCA was in need of leadership volunteers.

Hawkins asked if anyone had any old business/new business to discuss.

Ralph Rea’s son has been diagnosed with cancer.

The association sent flowers to Ethan Aldridge who has been in the hospital.

All report readings were waived. Seconded by Ralph Rea.Hawkins recognized our guests. Hal’s son Luke Hester, Cory Petty and
Jeremy Lewis from Cragger Company, David Watts and Daniel Friedman
from Aqua Dry Systems.

January 10, 2006Vice President Daniel Hawkins called the meeting to order at 7pm. There were 15 members, associate members and guests in attendance.Ralph Rea gave the invocation. Reading of the Secretary’s report was waived. The Treasurer report was waived also.

The State association report was given by Darrell Ellis and Ralph Rea. They reported that the
state association is considering a name change. Darrell also brought up a discussion that he has
had in the past with Tim and Diane about having continuing education classes 3 times a year at 2
hours per time to be held immediately following the CPHCCA meeting. This would help break up
the 6 required hours and may help draw in new members for the Charlotte Chapter.

Daniel to follow up with an email to Diane about the suggestion. Daniel to also email Diane about the
ads for the Carolina Plumbing News.

NCAPHCCA 06 Expo will be April 5 & 6 at Greensboro Coliseum.

Hawkins recognized our guest from MSP Rents- Conrad Thomas, Greg Carroll and Mark Zegilla.

Hawkins mentioned that next month’s speaker is Myra Taft with Afterdisaster.

Our guest speaker was Dan Franklin of City Chevrolet/Rick Hendrick Automotives.

Hawkins gave the Building Development report. He gave information about the “inspections pass
rate incentives program”, North Carolina amendments and the North Carolina Adopts Rehab Code.
He also mentioned the CPHCCA email group that will be coming to our email boxes soon.
